Ayurvedic Properties

·         Rasa (Taste): Tikta (Bitter), Katu (Pungent)

·         Guna (Qualities): Laghu (Light), Ruksha (Dry), Tikshna (Sharp)

·         Virya (Potency): Ushna (Hot)

·         Vipaka (Post-digestive effect): Katu

·         Dosha Action: Pacifies Vata and Kapha; may aggravate Pitta if used excessively
