Rosemary Astringent Lotion

 Ingredients

  • Sodium benzoate: ½ tsp

  • Rosemary powder: 2 tbsp

  • Orange peels: 1 tbsp

  • Lemon peels: 2 tbsp

  • Mint leaves: 30 leaves

  • Brandy: ¼ cup

  • Rose water: 1 cup


Process

  1. Bring the rose water to a boil.

  2. Add the orange peels, lemon peels, and mint leaves.

  3. Let the mixture soak/steep for 1 hour.

  4. Strain the liquid to remove the peels and leaves.

  5. Add the rosemary powder, sodium benzoate, and brandy to the strained rose water.

  6. Mix thoroughly until completely blended.

  7. Store under refrigeration to keep it fresh for longer.

Sandalwood Astringent Lotion

Ingredients

  • Sandalwood oil: 8 tbsp

  • Sodium bicarbonate: 5 g

  • Almond oil: 2 tsp

  • Rose water: 4 tbsp

  • Orange flower extract: 4 tbsp

  • Honey: 1 tbsp


Process

  1. Place all the ingredients in a clean bowl or bottle.

  2. Mix thoroughly until everything blends into a smooth, uniform lotion.

  3. Store the mixture under refrigeration to preserve it for several months.

  4. Apply with a cotton pad or gently massage onto the skin as needed.

Peppermint Astringent Lotion

Ingredients

  • Calamine lotion: 4 tbsp

  • Witch hazel extract: 4 tbsp

  • Peppermint extract: 2 tbsp

  • Cider vinegar: 1 tsp

  • Tincture of benzoin: 1 tbsp


Process

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a clean bowl or bottle.

  2. Mix thoroughly until the lotion becomes uniform.

  3. Apply gently on the face to achieve deep cleansing and to help open pores.

  4. Store the remaining mixture under refrigeration for future use.

Nutmeg Astringent Lotion

Ingredients

  • Honey: 1 tbsp

  • Nutmeg powder: 1 tbsp

  • Clove powder: ½ tbsp

  • Grated lemon peels: 2 tbsp

  • Brandy: 2 tbsp

  • Rose water: 4 tbsp

  • Orange flower extract: 2 tbsp

  • Tincture of benzoin: 1/8 tsp


Process

  1. Place all the ingredients in a clean glass container.

  2. Mix thoroughly until all components are well combined.

  3. Cover the container and let the mixture stand for 7 days to allow proper infusion.

  4. After 7 days, the lotion is ready for use.

  5. Apply with a cotton pad on the desired areas.

  6. Store under refrigeration, where it will keep for more than 2 months.

Lily Astringent Lotion

Ingredients

  • Distilled water: 2 litres

  • Lily flowers: 500 g

  • Sodium benzoate: 0.5 tsp


Process

  1. Bring the distilled water to a boil.

  2. Add the lily flowers and let them soak/steep for 1 hour.

  3. Strain the mixture to obtain the infused liquid.

  4. Add sodium benzoate and mix thoroughly.

  5. Dip cotton pads or buds into the lotion and apply to the face.

  6. This astringent leaves the skin fair, soft, and refreshed

Rose Astringent Lotion

Ingredients

  • Rose petals/roots: 500 g

  • Distilled water: 1.50 litres

  • Sodium benzoate: 0.5 tsp


Process

  1. Bring the distilled water to a boil.

  2. Add the rose petals or roots and allow them to soak/steep in the hot water.

  3. Strain the mixture once the infusion is complete.

  4. Add sodium benzoate to the strained liquid and mix well.

  5. Apply using cotton pads on the face and neck.

  6. This lotion is excellent for skin tightening and reducing wrinkles.

Cornflower Astringent Lotion

Ingredients

  • Distilled water: 250 ml

  • Cornflower: 100 g

  • Witch hazel: 1 tsp


Process

  1. Bring the distilled water to a boil.

  2. Add the cornflower and let it soak/steep in the hot water.

  3. After steeping, strain the mixture to obtain the infused liquid.

  4. Add witch hazel and mix well.

  5. Use by soaking a cotton pad in the lotion and applying it to the desired areas of the face or neck.
